What Time Is It?

With this Sunday March 8^th being Daylight savings, my mind journeyed to an ongoing and persistent thought.  It is obvious to us that the “time” we live in is beset with many events signaling us of the end of this time-period here on earth.

Soon:

1 Corinthians 15:51-52  “Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”

Stand before God:

2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.”

Surviving Work:

1 Corinthians 3:13-15  “each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done.  If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.  If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.”
