Predictions:

While reading through Ecclesiastes, we come across a sobering passage: “Whatsoever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, where you go. I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all. For man also knows not his time: …” Ecclesiastes 9:10-12a

As strong as that passage sounds, we need to keep in mind that Solomon wrote much of this book with an “under the sun” attitude of advice i.e. Leaving out a heavenly (Godly) perspective.

Things that will happen in 2020:

• God will love you, His child, no matter what.
• God will meet every one of your needs through His storehouse of grace.
• God will give grace for every trial you encounter.
• God will empower you to do that which He has called you to do.
• God will shower mercy upon you, though you don’t deserve it.
• God will work all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
• God will be faithful to complete the work He has begun in you.

Things that won’t happen in 2020:

• God will not leave you, nor forsake you.
• God will not abdicate His throne.
• God will not share His glory with another.
• God will not forget your labor of love.
• God will not lie.
• God will not fail you.
• God will not slumber nor sleep.

For 2020 may we all stand in Godly confidence,
