Pictures From Space
In a conversation about worldviews and perceptions about God, my friend in Christ referenced the photos of the Carena Nebula that came back from the James Webb Space Telescope. He shook his head and stated, how can someone look at these images and then deny that there is a God.
First images back from the James Webb Space Telescope launched 1,000,000 miles into the cosmos have been astounding revealing the beauty and power of stars and galaxies beyond number.
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands.” Psalms 19:1
“The heavens were made by the word of the Lord, and all the stars, by the breath of his mouth.” Psalms 33:6
“He counts the number of the stars; he gives names to all of them. Our Lord is great, vast in power; his understanding is infinite.” Psalms 147:4-5
“Look up and see! Who created these? He brings out the stars by number; he calls all of them by name. Because of his great power and strength, not one of them is missing.” Isaiah 40:26
“…You have covered the heavens with your majesty…When I observe your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you set in place, what is a human being that you remember him, a son of man that you look after him?” Psalms 8:1, 3-4
“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
