Flat Tire
Though I wasn’t stuck in some deep mud or a pit, I was stuck with 5 miles to go. Why? My bike had a flat tire. Thankfully I was at friend’s house who had a vehicle that would accommodate hauling said bike back to my home. I was thanking God for putting a friend in my life who had a heart to help me out. This passage came to mind as I thought over experiences where I’ve been stuck physically, spiritually or otherwise.
“I waited patiently for the LORD, and He turned to me and heard my cry for help. He brought me up from a desolate pit, out of the muddy clay, and set my feet on a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD. How happy is the man who has put his trust in the LORD and has not turned to the proud or to those who run after lies!” Psalm 40:1-4
I pray that this passage will encourage you today. God is ready and waiting to help you in any circumstance you might be facing today. Look to Him and be saved.
